BATH — Nicole D’Angelo scored a goal with five minutes remaining in the first half to lead the Maranacook girls soccer team to a 1-0 win over Morse in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference action Thursday.
The goal came off a corner kick from Kate Mohlar. Skyeler Webb had 18 saves to earn the shutout for the Black Bears (5-3-3).
Marissa Parks had 10 saves for Morse (7-2-2).
WINSLOW 3, GARDINER 1: Carly Warn scored twice to spark the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Winslow.
Sara Doughty added a goal on a penalty kick for Winslow (8-1-1). Broghan Gagnon made one save.
Alexis Nestor scored for Gardiner (0-10-1) and Brianna Perry made seven saves.
BOYS SOCCER
WINSLOW 2, GARDINER 1: Caleb Burbank and Bryce Hillier scored second-half goals for the Black Raiders, who erased a halftime deficit for the KVAC B win in Gardiner.
Jake Lapierre made three saves for Winslow (9-2-0).
Jackson Tweedy scored for Gardiner (2-8-1) in the first half.
