Let me see if I understand the political process of those in Congress (”GOP tax overhaul nearing passage,” Dec 2). Congress and the White House were controlled by the Democrats in 2009. They unilaterally passed Obamacare without Republican support and it became law in March 2010.
The Republicans now control Congress and the White House. It’s payback time for the Democrats for a unilateral, partisan passage of a forthcoming tax law.
So what’s the difference on the process between these two pathetic political parties? Nothing. Neither Obamacare nor these tax changes should have been done in a one-party political vacuum.
