A 29-year-old woman will face a robbery charge after police said she entered a dry cleaner, brandished a knife and demanded money on Wednesday.

Police intend to charge Shana M. Capecea, who is a transient, with one count of felony robbery.

Someone at the Pratt Abbott dry cleaners at 443 Main St. called police at 11:21 a.m. to report a robbery in progress, police said.

Police said the suspect fled the business with stolen cash and that within minutes officers stopped Capecea on Oak Street following a brief foot chase, and found her in possession of the cash. Police were still interviewing her Wednesday afternoon.
