BANGOR – It was day of upsets in the Class B North girls basketball semifinals. No. 5 Presque Isle knocked off top-seed Hermon, 55-52.

The Wildcats will face No. 6 Winslow in the regional final at 2:05 Saturday afternoon.

Emily Wheaton, a Miss Basketball semifinalist, scored a game-high 35 points for Presque Isle.

Presque Isle led 21-17 at the half and by as much as 10 points in the third quarter.

The Wildcats took a 35-29 lead into the fourth.
