I’m fed up — another school shooting. When is it going to end? We need gun control now.

How come the NRA is so powerful? Does anybody dare to stand up and do something? The NRA has got people convinced that the government is going to come to our homes and take away our guns. That’s not going to happen.

We need to make it harder for people to buy automatic weapons.

I’m a former Marine, and a twice-wounded combat veteran. Believe me I know the damage a rifle can do.

The only way to change things is through the ballot box. If you know a member of the Legislature that doesn’t back gun control, don’t vote them back in office. It’s that easy.

The NRA has taken the right to bare arms way too far. When our Constitution was written, we had muskets that took two minutes to load one shot. Today an automatic rifle can fire 20 rounds in a second and a half.

We need to do something to end this carnage, and we need to do it now.
