On Feb. 3 a group of six ladies from our church went out for lunch at Ruby Tuesday in Waterville. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays. When it came time to pay our bill, our waitress told us someone had picked up our check — for all six of us.

What a nice thing to do. We don’t have any idea who it was but I just want them to know how much it was appreciated, whoever they are.
