Oak Hill High School in Wales has canceled classes for Thursday after school administrators found a threatening message scrawled on a bathroom stall.

The message was discovered around 4 p.m. Wednesday, and after consulting with Maine State Police, administrators decided to evacuate the school campus and call off classes for Thursday, Superintendent Andy Carlton said in a message posted on the RSU 4 Facebook page.

Police will be on at the campus Thursday with a police dog to inspect the building and work with school administrators to investigate further.

Classes are expected to resume Friday with an added police presence.
