Maine Sports Legends honored six student athletes and seven inductees into its Legends’ Hall of Honors on June 24 at the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville. The student athletes included Kiera-Caley Young, Soren Nyhus, Gabrielle Marquis, Evan Desmond, Gilleyanne Davis-Oakes and Connor DiAngelo. The Hall of Honors inductees included Donna Russo, Carl “Stump” Merrill, Mark Rossignol, John Habeeb, Richard Cormier, posthumous; Paul Soucy and Bernard “Mac” MacKenzie, posthumous.
