Laura Fortman is a great choice for state senator.

It’s been awhile since having worked with Laura at the Department of Labor. It’s no surprise that she’s still deeply involved with state service. I can’t think of anyone more qualified to become District 13’s senator. I wish I could vote for her, but living in another district prevents that.

Laura’s always been one of the most fair people, with listening skills, while demonstrating strong positive leadership. In my opinion, Laura was the absolute best commissioner of the Department of Labor I’d ever worked for — and there were many in my 27-plus years there.

Laura was involved in every aspect of the department, and worked extremely well with anyone and any project. I have the greatest respect for Laura and wish for her only the very best and success in this endeavor. Senate District 13 will get the best of the best.
