Gerald “Jake” Mason

AUGUSTA – It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gerald “Jake” Mason on Feb. 12, 2021. He was born on April 20, 1937 to parents, Leona and Frank Mason.

Jake graduated from Crosby High, Albion and spent most of his life working and living in Albion. He worked on his father’s farm and later for the Pearson farm.

For most of his life he enjoyed the Celtics and NASCAR. He was known by his family and friends as a kind man, who enjoyed spending time with others.

Jake is survived by his brother, Deane Mason; his daughter, Karen Lemieux, his son, Chris Mason, his stepdaughter, Jessica Mussatti, his stepson, Seth Fowles; his grandson, Ben Lemieux; and great-grandson, Ian Lemieux.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Andrea Mason; his sister, Virginia Dow, and his brother, Clayton Mason.
