Anita A. Prince

MOOSE RIVER – Anita A. Prince, 92, of Moose River, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Skowhegan.

Anita was born on March 3, 1929 in Long Pond, Township, a daughter of Alfred and Desneige (Chouinard) Lacasse. She was educated in the local schools.

She married her husband, Peter L. Prince Jr., on Nov. 10, 1947.

Anita is predeceased by her husband, Peter L. Prince Jr.; one sister, Mayrose (Lacasse) Thibodeau, three brothers, Andre, Damien, and Ronald.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anita was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Parish. In her younger years Anita and Peter were very active maintaining the St. Faustina Catholic Church grounds. They loved picking bottles along the road and the money from the bottles were donated to the church. She was a home maker and loved to prepare delicious meals.

A funeral mass will be held in the spring in St. Faustina Catholic Church of St. Anthony Parish in Jackman, followed by burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
