Pierre “Pete” Bolduc
AUGUSTA – Pierre “Pete” Bolduc, 57, of Water Street, and formerly of Northern Avenue in Augusta, found deceased on March 3, 2021 after being missing since Jan. 25, 2021.He was born in Augusta on July 12, 1963, the son of Ode Bolduc and Anita (Giroux) Binette. A beloved life partner to his long-time girlfriend and he adored her children and grandchildren. Pete prided himself in his construction and carpentry skills and devoted most of his time remodeling buildings in downtown Augusta and surrounding areas. He was often referred to as “Downtown Pete” and was the first one on site when you needed a hand. He was always just a phone call away and happiest when he was helping others. Pete was very kindhearted and often anonymously donated to various charities. Mr. Bolduc was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Jacques Bolduc.Surviving is his life partner, Barbara Nicknair, of Augusta, her children Jessica Nicknair, Nicholas Nicknair and Andrew Nicknair; two sons, Jay McDaniel and partner Hannah, of Augusta, and Austin McDaniel, of Augusta, a daughter, Chelsea Comeau of Calais; two sisters, Huguette Caouette, of Phoenix, and Diane Biddle, of Old Orchard Beach, a brother, Luke Bolduc and his wife, Lisa, of Hallowell; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will take place mid-late May.
