SoundCheck: Mark Tipton Trio will be livestreamed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, from the Camden Opera House stage.
Jazz returns to our stage with Les Sorciers Perdus members Mark Tipton on trumpet, Ryan Blotnick on guitar and Beau Lisy on drums. The show will be livestream free on the venue’s Facebook page.
Tipton, a trumpeter, composer, producer and educator, has enjoyed a richly adventurous career as an independent, freelance musician, living and working in NYC, Los Angeles, the Midwest, and his home-state of Maine. He has toured the U.S. and Europe with jazz and classical ensembles, and spent four years touring with performance activist group Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir.
He currently serves as Development Director at WERU-FM Community Radio, and leads Mark Tipton Music Productions, LLC.
