
BINGHAM — Victoria Beane of Moscow, a senior at Upper Kennebec Valley Memorial Jr./Sr. High School, has been selected to receive the 2021 Principal’s Award.
Sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, the award is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Beane is a bright and dedicated student, a strong and hardworking athlete, and an engaged and generous classmate who has earned a spot at the top of her graduating class, according to her school. She is a three-year varsity athlete in softball and a four-year varsity athlete in soccer and basketball.
Beane was a member of the theater club at Valley for two years. She was inducted into the National Honor Society in grade 10. She was elected class president both junior and senior years.
Each principal who recognizes a senior for this distinct honor as well as the award recipient are then invited to participate in the Principal’s Award LIVE Virtual Scholarship Drawing Event on Friday, May 14. Drawings will be held for 10 $1,000 scholarships.
