Lynda Smith

WINTHROP – Lynda Smith of Winthrop died April 3, 2021 at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care at Glenridge after a short and aggressive battle with metastatic small cell lung cancer. She was born on Dec. 16 1959 and attended Winthrop school system.

Lynda enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors in nature.

Lynda was predeceased by her mother Joyce Mcdougal. Lynda is survived by her father Darryl Smith, stepmother Jean Smith, stepfather Joel Mcdougal Sr.; brother Joel Mcdougal Jr, sister Norma Walsh; daughter Erica Gray, son Jason Shaw, daughter-in-law Erica Shaw; granddaughters Ava Wakem and Alexis Shaw, and grandson Nash Ashbury.

In keeping with Lynda’s wishes there will be a private service for close family and friends Sunday May 2.
