Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Farmington Police are investigating more than a dozen reports of vehicle windows being shot out by drive-by BB gun shootings in Industry and Farmington late Monday night.
According to a Franklin County Sheriff’s Facebook post: “These calls have been focused in the Industry area from Clearwater Lake towards Farmington and in Farmington around the fairgrounds. A witness to one of the incidents has provided a possible vehicle description of a dark colored hatchback, possibly a Subaru or Toyota.”
“We don’t have anybody, yet. We are getting closer,” Farmington patrol Officer Jesse Clement said. “We are still working on it.
“We have had five incidents in Farmington. There have been three incidences in Industry and nine in Somerset County of drive-by BB gun shootings.”
Clement said he wants the public to be aware of what might be happening late at night.
“I know we are looking at a hatchback type vehicle,” Clement said. “If you have any idea who this might be, give us a call.”
