Ann Elizabeth (Cotnoir) Ellis

WINTHROP – On Tuesday April 20, 2021, Ann Elizabeth (Cotnoir) Ellis, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her home. Ann was born on July 20, 1966 in Woonsocket R.I. to Russell and Sylvia (Ricard) Cotnoir. Ann married Donald Ellis, on August 24, 1985. She and Don raised two children together, Johanna and Donald Jr. and have four grandchildren. Ann was a loving wife, mother, Memere, sister and aunt. She loved being with her family and attended every game, concert or play her children or grandchildren had while she was able. Ann had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. Those who were fortunate enough to know Ann will remember the fun, loving, and vibrant energy she brought with her everywhere and will never forget that infectious laugh and beaming smile.Ann was predeceased by her father, Russell Cotnoir. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 36 years; her daughter Johanna and her husband Kelly and grandsons Adam and Noah, her son Donald Jr. and granddaughter Lily and grandson Logan; her mother Sylvia (Ricard) Cotnoir; her brothers, Russell Jr and his wife Denise, Chris and his wife Julie, Jeff and his wife Linda, Thaddeus, Doug and his wife Sarah, Scott and his wife Leigh, Tim and his wife Jen, Tom and his wife Val, and John and his wife June. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winthrop.
