AUGUSTA — Isaac Beloff scored 10 goals and had two assists to lead Cony past Erskine 22-7 in boys lacrosse action Monday.

Jack Morrill added four goals and six assists, while Casey Mills tallied five goals and an assist. Jake Geneseo (assist) scored twice, Duncan Hays (assist) had a goal, and Nick Geneseo and Caleb Vose had assists. Elijah Beland stopped nine shots for Cony (3-5).

Michael Nichols and Casey Kirkpatrick scored three goals each for the Eagles, and Brady Kirkpatrick added a goal. Hunter Johnson (five saves) and David Martinez (four) split goaltending duties.

 

NYA 12, GARDINER 4: Brayden Warde had three goals and an assist for the Panthers (6-2) as they took a 6-3 advantage and handled the Tigers (2-3) at Yarmouth.

Caleb Waterman had two goals and three assists for NYA, while Luke Lathrop chipped in with two goals and an assist.

 

GIRLS LACROSSE

 

GARDINER 13, LINCOLN 3: Lilly Diversi scored five goals to pace the Tigers to the win in Gardiner.

Averi Baker added a hat trick for Gardiner (3-3) while Emma Bourget had two goals and Sophie Blanchard, Natalie Fossett and Sarah Luiz had one apiece. Skye Cotnoir made 10 saves.

Jose Henry had two goals for Lincoln (0-6) and Camden LeBel had the other. Martha Griffin made five saves.

 

SOFTBALL

 

HALL-DALE 5, CARRABEC 1: Sarah Benner had two hits and Zoe Soule added a double to lead the Bulldogs to an Mountain Valley Conference win over the Cobras in North Anson.

Ashlynn Donahue earned the win in the circle for Hall-Dale (10-0).

Carrabec falls to 0-7.

 

GARDINER 9, OAK HILL 2: Maddie Farnham had two hits, including a triple, to lead the Tigers to a win over the Raiders in Wales.

Taylor Takatus had two hits, including a double, for Gardiner (7-0).

Oak Hill falls to 3-4.

 

BASEBALL

 

WINTHROP 12, CARRABEC 1, 5 innings: Greg Fay had a two-run triple to lead the Ramblers to the win in North Anson.

Logan Baird pitched four innings, striking out seven for Winthrop (3-4).

Conner Peabody had an RBI single for Carrabec while Will Lawrence had their other hit.

 

ERSKINE 6, MCI 4: Erskine scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the lead in Kennebec Valley Conference Class B play in Pittsfield.

Colby Lloyd and Grady Hotham each had a pair of hits for Erskine. Joe Curtis had a pair of hits for MCI.

 

LAWRENCE 12, MCI 2, 5 innings: Zach Nickerson homered to lead the Bulldogs to the win in Fairfield.

Hayden Lee moved to 2-0 on the season with the win on the mound for Lawrence (5-3).

Mason Berthelette doubled and singled for MCI (3-6).

 

MONMOUTH 10, MARANACOOK 4: Hayden Fletcher had a double and Liam Burgess added a triple to lead the Mustangs to a win over the Black Bears in Monmouth.

Monmouth improves to 8-1.

Thomas Trafton had a double for Maranacook (3-5).

 

MT. ABRAM 10, TELSTAR 2: Gabe Emery and Ian Allen each had two RBIs for the Roadrunners (9-3) in a victory over the Rebels (4-6).

Emery had two hits in the game and Hunter Warren had three.

Cam Palmer had the only hit for Telstar and took the loss on the mound.
