AUGUSTA — Eli Bezanson’s RBI single broke a sixth-inning tie and lifted the Cony baseball team to a 2-1 win over Bangor on Saturday.
Bezanson’s single scored Kris Hinkley for the go-ahead run after the Rams tied it in the fourth. Kyle Douin got the win for Cony (5-5), striking out seven batters.
Braden Caron had a double for Bangor.
OAK HILL 7, MONMOUTH 1: Gavin Rawstron struck out 12 in a complete-game effort to lead the Raiders to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Monmouth.
Trent Drouin had three hits and scored three runs for Oak Hill (8-2), and Ethan Vattaso picked up a pair of hits in the victory.
Cam Armstrong pitched five innings and had a hit and a run for the Mustangs (9-2).
