
Frank Michael Klajbor Jr.
LITCHFIELD – Frank Michael Klajbor Jr, born Jan. 11, 1985, in Brunswick, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2021 at the age of 36.Frankie enjoyed fishing and skateboarding from an early age, as he grew he loved playing soccer, baseball, swimming, video games and playing the xylophone with the homeschool Patriots Marching Band. As Frankie entered his teenage years he participated in youth groups and volunteered with youth camps.Franks passion for skateboarding as a teenager lead him to help plan and build the Winthrop skate park, followed by planning the Gardiner skate park. When Frank was not skating you could find him fishing the Kennebec River and other Maine waters. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed countless adventures hiking, exploring and camping in Maine’s wilderness. Frank was a compassionate, loving son, brother, uncle, friend and genuinely cared for others. If you needed anything Frank would be there for you. As a loving brother he watched over his siblings in their youth and as adults. In his career Frank loved to cook, as he would jump in and lend a hand for events like family and friends weddings, to helping friends plan and open new restaurants. As a chef Frankie’s culinary talents shined.Franks life ended to soon, he will be loved and missed by all who knew him, as we find peace knowing he is with his paternal grandparents Frank D. and Jean Klajbor waiting for his family and friends to meet again.Survivors include his mother and father, Frank and Deborah (Debby) of Gardiner; brother Justin of Austin, Texas, sister Amanda Haff and husband Walter of Rochester, N.H., brother Aaron and wife Heather (Turner) of Manchester; niece Koralee Haff, nephews Finnley and Theodore Haff, and Lucas and Isaiah Klajbor; along with maternal grandparents Richard and Barbara Kapise; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A private memorial service was held in Gardiner.
