The Union Fairgrounds Car Show is to be held Saturday, June 5, at the fairgrounds on Common Road.
The spectator gate will open at 10 a.m., and the rain date is Saturday, June 12.
Registration to show or sell will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. with a price of $10 for the car and driver plus one. “Show” registrants can also sell parts at no additional cost. The cost to sell without showing a car is the same price.

Winners in each class are also eligible to win Best of Show, Best Stock, and Judges Choice. Trophies are awarded in all categories, with ribbons for all entries, plus $100 cash for Best of Show.
The event also will include a 50/50 raffle, Touch-a-Truck and other exhibits for the children of all ages, as well as loud music and food.
Admission will cost $5 for adults and is free for children younger than 12. Proceeds will benefit Medomak Valley High School, Agriculture Education, and Friends of the Union Fair.
Awards will begin at 1 p.m. COVID rules will be enforced.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
