MADISON — Brooke McKenney had two hits, including a double, to lead the Madison softball team to a 5-0 win over Monmouth Academy in the Mountain Valley Conference title game Thursday.

McKenney also struck out 18 in a complete-game victory. She walked two and allowed five hits.

Arabel Linkletter added a triple for the Bulldogs (13-1).

Madison scored two runs in the first inning and three in the second en route to the victory.

The Mustangs fell to 10-1.
