After taking a year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Farmington Falls Fire Company Inc. in Farmington Falls will hold its yard sale and chicken barbecue on Saturday, July 17, on Philbrick Park field behind the Falls Fire Company Station at 114 Philbrick Road in Farmington Falls.
Clean donations will be accepted for the yard yard; no clothing or books. To find out where and when donations can be dropped off or if items need to be picked up, call Junior Turner at 207-778-2181 or Bob Gramlich at 207-778-3156.
The yard sale will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The chicken barbecue will be served beginning at noon. Entertainment will be provided by “Best Friends,” featuring Dona Whittemore, Zale Lochala, Roland Bean and Craig Hutchinson beginning, around 11:45 a.m. under the pavilion.
This event benefits the Hawks baseball teams, the Majors and Minors, and maintains the Philbrick Park field. Both teams are having successful seasons.
