
WASHINGTON — A third annual paddle race is to be held Saturday, July 10, on Washington Pond, Razorville Road.
Sign-in will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at the boat landing.
Races are to start at 9 a.m.
There is no entry fee or prizes. The event will include youth and adult races.
The paddle race is sponsored by the Washington Recreation Committee and the Washington Lakes & Watershed Association.
After the races, the Ladies Guild will hold its annual Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Washington Fire Department, 42 Old Union Road.
