Eloise S. Peaslee
PITTSTON – Eloise S. Peaslee, 84 of Pittston died Saturday, July 3. 2021 at Augusta Center for Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Feb. 6, 1937 in Randolph the daughter of Russell Sr. and Shirley True Marston.
She attended Randolph schools and graduated from Gardiner High, class of 1955. She married Fullum Peaslee Jr. right after high school. She and her husband raised three children in Pittston.
She was an executive secretary for the department of corrections for 25 years.
She was an avid reader, and loved crocheting, camping, traveling and her church. She was a member of Calvary Four Square for many years and was more recently a member of the Randolph Methodist Church. She volunteered at the Clothes Closet in Gardiner, which she enjoyed very much.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fullum; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ann Marston.
She is survived by three children, Susan Tobey and her husband Paul of Pittston, Wayne Peaslee his wife Cheryl of Pittston, Jeff and his wife Angela of Somersworth, N.H.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Russell F. Marston Jr. of Pittston, Thomas Marston his wife Nancy of Southport; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Pippa and cat, Babe.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 10 at 3 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Rte. 27, Randolph.
