The Palermo Community Library is to hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at its 2789 Route 3 home.
The trustees are to formally receive and hang a quilt donated by Joan Robertson.
The quilt showcases Christmas-themed crayon drawings done last November by students from the Palermo Consolidated School and several local homeschool students. The drawings were pressed into the fabric to transfer the pigments, then sewn together by Joan Robertson.
The piece was finished off with machine quilting by Diane Dixon.
The trustees will also unveil the library’s new Prusa 3-D printer.
This is a public meeting and all are invited. Light refreshments will be served.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
