Rhonda Elaine Daggett

SKOWHEGAN – Rhonda Elaine Daggett passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 2, 2021.

She was born in Skowhegan on Feb. 24, 1965, the daughter of Clifford Jr. and Ruth (McGee) Daggett.

She attended Madison schools and graduated from Madison High School in June of 1984 and Penobscot Job Core in 1985.

In her early adult years she moved to Skowhegan where she enjoyed volunteering at the Redington Fairview General Hospital and received the Hospital Volunteer of the Year Award for 2019 – 2020.

She loved doing crafts, long walks, watching sports, traveling with family and public service. Over the years she was a Chaplain in the Skowhegan Grange, a Chaplain in the Pamona Grange, a member of the Bloomfield Garden Club and a member of the Skowhegan Library. She joined the Federated Church of Skowhegan over 23 years ago and remained an active member of their choir enjoying the companionship of the members of the church.

She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Jr. in 2009, her mother Ruth (Mc- Gee) in 1975, aunts and uncles Irene and Charlie Foss, Ardis Willivize, Eleanor and Anson Snowden, Harrison and Olga Daggett, Ronnie and Veniece Daggett, and cousin Debbie Clutter.

She is survived by her Step Mother Charlene (Cowett) Daggett, brother Mark Anthony Daggett, aunts and uncles Carl and Audrey McGee of New Gloucester, Joe and Tokiko McGee of Fairborn, Ohio, Norma Brown of Middleboro Mass., Linda Levesque of Lisbon, Darcy Lyons of Skowhegan and many cousins of the Daggett, McGee, Cowett, Brown, Levesque, Lyons, Foss, Willivize and Snowden Families.

The family would like to thank all friends, organizations and members of her current apartment complex for their kindness and caring given to Rhonda over the years as she was a very special and loving person that will be sadly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 16 at the Federated Church, 13 Island Ave., Skowhegan.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
