
Jeannette M. (Richard) Arsenault
MADISON – Jeannette M. (Richard) Arsenault of Madison passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday July 4, 2021.
She was born on March 14, 1931, in Madison, Maine; the daughter of Delma (Willette) and Edward Richard.
She graduated from Madison High School in 1950. She married Richard Arsenault on Jan. 5, 1952, and together they celebrated 56 years of a joyful marriage.
Jeanette spent most of her life as a homemaker, she loved raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She often could be found sitting outside, enjoying the weather, and visiting with her sister Ann Marie with whom she lived next to for many years.
Jeannette is survived by her sons; Larry Arsenault and his partner, Dawn Poirier, Dale Arsenault and his wife, Alice; and her daughter, Pamela Brazier and her husband, Jeffrey, all of Madison; and her daughter in law Darcy of Skowhegan. Grandsons Larry Arsenault Jr. of Madison, Jason Arsenault and wife Rachel of Easton, Pennsylvania; Mark Arsenault and partner Courtney Hall of Bangor; and granddaughters Felica Robertson of Wisconsin; Valerie Morin and husband Shane of Dover, N.H.; Danielle Lever and husband Brian of Portland; Brittany Vigue and husband Cody of Vassalboro and several great grandchildren; sisters, Anne Marie McCarthy and Phyllis Briggs.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Arsenault; son, Dennis Arsenault; four sisters, Virginia Gallant, Yvette Richard, Lorraine Dugas and Marjorie Berard; and three brothers, Aurel Richard, Omer Richard and Hubert Richard.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison on Friday July 16, at 2 p.m. There will be a luncheon reception immediately following the graveside service at the American Legion Hall in Madison.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her wonderful caregivers Sandra, Dee, Sherry, Val, and Pam who assisted her in attaining her final wish, to remain at home.
Arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.
