The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s July 3rd in the Park event was held. Visitors were treated to a variety of foods and activities for the children, the Joan Frost Art Show and the 3rd annual Great American Dog Parade. The lakeside park provided an ideal backdrop for the event and enticed visitors to come enjoy the beauty of the park and take advantage of all that the area nonprofits had to offer.

The Tom Ball Band performed for the crowd in the evening leading up to the fireworks at dusk.
Approximately 70 dogs were entered in the parade and picking just three winners was difficult, but the winners were Koda owned by Kolton Vining, Baxter owned by Levi Knapp, and Prudence and Rose owned by Jennifer and John Burke.

Next up on the Chamber’s slate of major summer events is the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, scheduled for Aug. 18. This much-anticipated event promises to be a fun outing for all involved.
