Nancy Mitchell

MONTVILLE – A beautiful, caring, and loving soul has been taken from us. Nancy R. Mitchell passed away on July 6, 2021 after battling cancer for two years. She was one of the most giving people anyone could know. Nancy loved kids and would do anything they wanted and do anything they asked, that was because she was a big kid at heart herself. She was like a second mother to Glenn and Sue Martin’s four children, GW, Casey, Sarah, and Jodie. Being there to assist in their births and loving them deeply.

She was a hard worker and would put everything she had into whatever she took on. Nancy worked for Maine General hospital for over 30 years and was a valued employee.

Nancy was born in Liberty, Maine, to Charles and Betty Randall in 1958. She was the youngest of five kids. She leaves behind her loving husband Linwood Mitchell of Montville, brothers Cliff Randall and his wife Sharon of China, Tim Randall of Freedom, sisters Virginia Harrison and husband Al of San Antonio, Texas, Debra Brackett of Spout Springs, Va.; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a great number of friends, all who she cared deeply about.

If you told her that you loved her, she would always reply “Love you more,” and mean it. She will sorely be missed by all who were a part of her life. We love you Nancy and will miss you so very much for the rest of our lives. Let your soul shine, Sweetheart.
