Raymond Mathias Gilbert

MADISON – Raymond Mathias Gilbert, 56, passed away Aug. 5, 2021, at his home in Madison. He was born April 29, 1965, in Torrington, Connecticut, the son of Paul J and Lucille J. (Doyon) Gilbert.

He was employed at Marden’s for three years and enjoyed fishing.

Raymond is survived by his sister, Christine Jewell and husband David of Madison; two nephews, Craig Jewell and wife Amy of Norridgewock, Tate Jewell of Norridgewock; two nieces, Elizabeth Gilbert of Torrington, Connecticut, Jasmine Jewell of Madison; many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Lucille Gilbert; brother, Bruce Gilbert and wife Lesa of Torrington, Connecticut.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Water Street, Skowhegan. Interment will be held following the service at Calvary Cemetery in Skowhegan
