Brenda Coughlin

WESTBROOK – Brenda Coughlin, 77, of Westbrook, passed away on July 23, 2021 in Westbrook after a long illness.

Brenda Was Born in Ayer, Mass., when her father was stationed in Fort Devens, Mass. to the late John and Catherine Coughlin on Sept. 18, 1943. She went to grade school in Norridgewock and high school in Skowhegan.

Brenda was very proud of her Irish heritage and a huge Elvis fan. She loved spending time with family and friends, she made friends easily and held them tightly, old and new. In her younger days she loved horses and horseback riding, reading, ceramic class and shenanigan’s with friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her two sons, Shane and Brett Beaulieu; father John Coughlin, mother Catherine Erickson and her husband Elton Erickson; special friend, Kert Ingraham; and stepbrother, Terry Erickson.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gleason and husband Chuck; three granddaughters, Brittany Quint and companion Ryan Jones, Jacy Quint and Courtney Conant; great-grandson, Emerson; sister, Barbara Morrison and husband Thomas, stepsister, Janice Erickson; and many nieces and nephews.

Per her request there will be no visitation or funeral services.
