Debra LeBeau
NEW PORTLAND – Beloved mother and sister, Debra LeBeau, gained her angel wings on Aug. 8, 2021, with her ex-husband and good friend, Joe, by her side. Debbie was born on Jan. 21, 1966, to Porter and Helen Wills, and happily lived her life in East New Portland. Debbie worked for over twenty years for Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation where she spent many years as the head of the laundry department. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Bree, and enjoyed the wonderful memories they made together. Debbie was a talented knitter and crocheted the most exquisite doilies. Many family members were fortunate to have received one of these gifts from the heart. She was an avid reader and loved her collection of Clive Cussler books. She adored penguins and was a collector of them; from jewelry to figurines, to clothing, if it had a penguin, she loved it! Debbie loved family gatherings from Christmas parties to family reunions. She was always one of the first to show up and help out. Being together with her family made her happy. She was very involved with the New Portland Community Library where she volunteered many hours fundraising and as a member of the Board of Directors. She loved helping patrons find the perfect book. Being involved with the library was the way she enjoyed giving back to her community. Debbie also loved her pets and snuggling with her fur babies gave her great comfort.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Breanna Helen LeBeau and fiancé Dylan Pelton of New Portland; Joseph LeBeau of Houlton; brothers, Lewis Wills and wife Judi of New Portland, Steven Wills and wife Lisa of Canton, Edward Wills of Palo Alto, Calif., Stanley Wills and wife Terry of New Portland; sister, Arlene Newell and husband Bernard of New Portland; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Porter and Helen Wills; oldest brother, Ronald P. Wills and his wife Barbara.
Debbie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
