ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. – Christine Chase Pooler, 93, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. and previously of Gorham, passed away on August 22, 2021 from a mesenteric tumor.

Christine was born on Dec. 26, 1927. Christine graduated from Waterville High School in 1946. She was married over 53 years and had lived in Maine, Canada, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Florida. She retired from Union Mutual in 1992. Christine will be remembered for her kind, generous heart and sense of humor.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Arnal Pooler; three brothers, Lawrence, Russell and Arnold Chase; parents Leafy and Charles Chase.

She is survived by five daughters, Marcia Tamblyn, Diane Pooler, Sharon Accinno, Kathy Thompson, and Jayne Johnson; eight grandchildren, Hillary and Samantha Hansen, Joseph and Greg Accinno, Ashleigh Lemaire and Allison Nugent, Matthew and Valerie Johnson; also, four great-grandchildren, Ava and Alexander Lemaire, McKenna Diaz-Hansen and Joseph Nugent.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28 at Maplewood Cemetery at 2 p.m.
