WATERVILLE — Jennifer Morris was named Thomas College women’s lacrosse coach, the school announced Thursday.
Morris, a Thomas graduate, replaces Peri West, who resigned in August.
“I look forward to being a part of the Thomas College community and I am excited to work with a diverse group of student-athletes,” Morris said in a statement.
Morris was a multi-sport athlete at Thomas, where she competed on the women’s lacrosse and soccer teams. She was a captain on the’ lacrosse team in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
“I am so excited to have Jenn back at Thomas College as a coach and mentor for our student-athletes,” Thomas athletic director Christopher Parsons said in a statement. “She was an incredible leader on and off the field during her time as a student and exemplified the true meaning of being a student-athlete. I am confident she will do amazing in her new role.”
