MALVERNE VILLAGE, N.Y. – Laurel Constance Weindorf, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, with her family by her side. Laurel was born on August 9, 1934 in Waterville to Dorothy Dawn (Cookson) and Charles E. MacCarn.Laurel was a secretary for Long Island Lighting Company and office manager for South Shore Christian School. She was a faithful member and trustee of the Lynbrook Baptist Church.Laurel is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Weindorf; sister, Beverly D. Waterman, brothers Charles W. MacCarn and Neale W. MacCarn.She is survived by daughters Pamela L. Bach of Lynbrook, N.Y., Kathryn D. Panaro of Lynbrook, N.Y. and Rebecca L. Golia and husband Vincent N. Golia of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren Robert C. Bach, Andrew N. Bach, Jessie D. Panaro, Domenic J. Panaro, Nicholas V. Golia and Joseph R. Golia; and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.A memorial service was held at the Lynbrook Baptist Church, in Lynbrook, N.Y. A private family graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Waterville.
