Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area plans to offer a six-week Grieving Parent’s Support Group starting Sept. 30. Participants will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday evenings.
This group is for parents who have experienced the loss of a child of any age. It will include opportunities for sharing at one’s own comfort level and educational handouts.
Group facilitators are trained hospice volunteers who have both experienced the loss of a child. Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will follow the current CDC COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations for meetings. Meeting location will be determined.
