
The Winthrop Maine Historical Society is scheduled to host an antique appraisal day from 1-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at van der Brew tasting room and deck at 30 Summer St., Winthrop.
Appraiser Kaja Veilleux of Thomaston Place Auction Galleries will offer verbal assessments of attic treasures.
Each donation of $20 will allow a person to have a group of any one to three items appraised. Multiple groups of items are allowed and encouraged.
All proceeds will go to The Winthrop History and Heritage Center.
