
Sally Ann Morgan
WEST GARDINER – Sally Ann Morgan, 71, of West Gardiner passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at Augusta Rehab. She was born Sept. 11, 1950 in Rockland, the daughter of Seth and Margurite (Matthews) Knowlton.
She attended Rockland schools and graduated from Rockland High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tufts College. She worked as a Dental Assistant for VA Togus for 35 years.
She met Anthony Morgan when he was a patient at the dental clinic. They were married Dec. 11, 1971. They lived in South Gardiner for 40 years, where they raised their son Darrin. They moved to West Gardiner in 2018.
Sally was a Scout Leader for many years. She loved Popham Beach and spending time with her cats.
She also loved visiting Prince Edward Island.
She was predeceased by a brother Scott A. Knowlton, and brother-in-law Rodney Morgan.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Tony Morgan; her son Darrin and his wife Katrina of Hartland; grandchildren Harbor and Nash Morgan; brother Spencer of Camden, sisters-in-law Sharon Knowlton of Rockland, Linda Moreshead and her husband Herb of W. Gardiner, Carol Morgan and husband Ronnie of Pittston, Roberta Morgan of Lincolnville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Augusta Rehab for the great care Sally and Tony have received over the past few years.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. at Cherry Hill Cemetery, West Gardiner.
