Theodore Warren McBride

MIDDLETON, Mass. – Theodore Warren McBride, born August 29, 2019 in Baltimore, passed away at the age of 2 on Sept. 27, 2021, at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, surrounded by family. He lived in Middleton, Mass. with his loving family.

Theodore is survived by his immediate family, his father, Elliot McBride, his mother, Jessica McBride; and his most amazing 6-year-old big sister, Vanessa McBride; as well as so many other loving extended family members

Despite Theodore’s complicated medical journey, his life was full of love and happiness and is a resounding example of the most incredible resiliency and tenacity imaginable. He was and still is a gift to so many and will be forever.

He loved family snuggles, playing with his sister, making progress on development and growth, listening to music, and being outside. His laugh and smile were infectious, his hair was enviable, and I think it is safe to say that he literally charmed everyone he met.

Although his journey on this Earth was short, the amount he accomplished, the lessons he taught, and the lives he touched and impacted are countless. He surpassed any expectation, he overcame any challenge, and is just clearly a reminder to never give up hope and faith, to never underestimate the power of love, to always appreciate the gift of today, and to always believe in family and joy. Thank you, God, for blessing us with our precious Theodore, we are so lucky to have been chosen to be his family.
