WATERVILLE — Police said no one was injured Wednesday afternoon when an SUV turning south onto West River Road collided with a vehicle traveling north, toward Kennedy Memorial Drive.
Air bags deployed in both vehicles, which were towed from the scene, according to Sgt. Kyle McDonald of the Waterville Police Department.
McDonald said the crash occurred when a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling west on Abenaki Road turned left, or south, onto West River Road and pulled in front of a 2009 Subaru Outback traveling north.
McDonald, who was not at the scene, said he did not have the drivers’ names.
“The officer told me the driver (of the Equinox) said she did not see the other car,” he said.
