Sharon A. Pooler

VASSALBORO – Sharon A. Pooler, 64, passed away Oct. 26, 2021 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta surrounded by family. She was born March 29, 1957 in Waterville, the daughter of Bob and Helen Nason.

She graduated from Quabbin Regional Jr./Sr. High School in Barre, Mass. in 1975. On August 25, 1992, she married Frederick “Rick” Pooler in Vassalboro. Sharon worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, that included Diamond Match, Hathaway, and with her family at N and H Discount and Redemption in Oakland. She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her animals, watching movies, reading, playing computer games and going to Bingo.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 29 years, Rick Pooler of Vassalboro; daughter, Beth (Harder) Kern and husband Mark of Eden Valley, Minn.; grandchildren, Michael Kern, Samantha Kern and Tyler Kern, all of Eden Valley, Minn.; mother-in-law, Kay Pooler of Vassalboro; sister, Shelley Pushard and husband Scott of Windsor, brother, Robert “Bob” Nason Jr. and wife Sharise of Norridgewock; numerous other family members, including stepsiblings; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Helen Nason; father-in-law, Edgar “Spike” Pooler; and many other family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
