Tavi Norton
SKOWHEGAN – It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Tavi Norton of Skowhegan, on Saturday Oct. 23, 2021 at the early age of 45.
Tavi loved the outdoors, especially fishing and kayaking with her son, Ian, along with camping and hiking. Tavi truly enjoyed working and caring for the elderly and was loved and cherished by her clients. Equally more, she loved them as well. Tavi was a certified track and field official in Maine. She was currently serving on the Maine board as Secretary and Member Services. In 2018, Tavi received ME-USATF Volunteer award. Tavi was a warm and vibrant lady to be missed by all.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ian Norton; her parents Valaree and Stephen Foss; sister, Stefanie Foss; her ex-husband, Bill Norton; grandmother, Beverly Langley; along with extended family of aunts, uncles; cousins; and many friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at the Skowhegan Federated Church, 13 Island Ave, Saturday Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. followed by burial services at Fairview Cemetery in Canaan (Hartland Rd.) at 2 p.m.
We want to extend a warm and sincere thanks to the ICU team at Redington-Fairview General Hospital of Skowhegan. We cannot express enough how you ALL provided treatment and great dignity for Tavi. Last but not least, how you supported us in our time of sorrow.
Tavi, we love you.
