AUGUSTA — Pia Holmes and Kevin Lamoreau were reelected to at-large positions on the Augusta Board of Education.

According to unofficial results from Tuesday night, Holmes received a total of 3,014 votes and Lamoreau received 3,057 votes.

The pair ran against newcomer Sergei Chaparin who received 1,808 votes.

Augusta’s Ward 3 had a vacant spot open for a board of education position that received 72 write-ins for unspecified candidates. It was not immediately clear whether any candidate emerged from a write-in spot.

A total of 10,884 voters turned out for the board’s at-large vote.
