AUGUSTA – William D. Austin Jr., 28, of Kendall St., passed away unexpectantly Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, as the result of a gun accident.Baby Billy, as he was known to most, was born in Augusta, on Feb. 5, 1993, the son of Wendy L. (Seaver) Austin.Billy worked as a landscaper at Compton’s Landscaping. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, watching football and playing disc golf. Some of his best times were spent with his nieces and nephews.Billy is survived by his mother, Wendy L. (Seaver) Austin of Gardiner; stepmother Vicki Lachance of Monmouth; sister, Kendra L. Austin; step-sisters, Kacey Camp and Toni Geisinger of Augusta; maternal grandmother Christina Mitchell of Gardiner, and Pauline Ouellette of Gardiner; aunt, Kelli Karl of Bangor, and several nieces and nephews.Billy is predeceased by his uncle, Alan E. Seaver of Gardiner.There will be no service; however, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
