UNION — Vose Library invites people to its Vose or Virtual Wednesday series, due next to feature Robin Clifford Wood at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, via Zoom.
Wood is an author, poet, blogger and essayist. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale, a Master of Arts degree in English from University of Rochester and a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program.
Wood’s writing has been featured in Port City Life magazine, Bangor Metro, Bangor Daily News, Maine Public Radio’s “Music That Moves Me” series, The Maine Review, and Solstice Literary Magazine, which published her essay, “How Do You Help Your Parents Die.”
One of her poems won national recognition, and another was produced by Penobscot Theatre Company.
Wood lives in central Maine with her husband and an old dog named Clara. “The Field House: A Writer’s Life Lost and Found on an Island in Maine” is her first book.
