Mark Boucher

PITTSTON – Mark Boucher, 52, passed from this life on Nov. 13, 2021, with his daughters by his side at the Alfond Center of Health in Augusta. He was born Nov. 14, 1968, in Augusta, to Richard and Pamela (Hutchins) Boucher. Mark was raised in Randolph, attending Gardiner Area High School obtaining his GED. After working for his father’s store, Mark began a short career as a long-haul trucker traveling all over the U.S. Upon his return to Maine, he began working in construction, leading him to open his longtime business, MYB Construction. Mark successfully ran his business for over a decade until his transition to flooring and custom tile work. In 2011 he opened Riverside Flooring. He found his passion in his custom tile work and always enjoyed a complex design.

Mark cherished his children and grandchildren as well as the time he spent with them. He always looked forward to family gatherings at his home, whether it was for the holidays, a birthday, or just because. He loved having everyone together. Mark also had several hobbies. He enjoyed motorcycle drives to the coast with friends, working with leather, reading, and listening to a wide variety of music.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Perly and Patricia Boucher, maternal grandparents Duane and Cecilia Hutchins, and Father Richard Boucher of Florida.

He is survived by his mother Pamela Hutchins Boucher of Randolph; sister Karen Boucher of Randolph; brother Scott Boucher of Waterville; his children Amber Michaud of Pittston, Megan Hunter and partner Nick Kelley of Chelsea, and Ryan Boucher and partner Kelsey Holwerda of Pittston; his grandchildren Olivia Michaud, Braelynn Kelley, Kevin Kelley, Zoey Boucher, and soon expected Theo Boucher as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held in Spring 2022. Official date will be announced closer to occasion. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
