Mary Hazel Farnham

SOLON – Mary Hazel Farnham, 70, passed away on Nov. 15, 2021. She was born on Feb. 4, 1951, to Ken and Mary Austin.

She had a love for all animals and had a heart of gold. She attended Valley High School and graduated in June of 1969. She married the love of her life Gary on Sept. 1, 1972. Some of her favorite times were helping her family run Austin’s Dairy, spending time with her kids and grandkids, participating in craft fairs, sitting in her corner by the fire knitting and her many trips to the river on hot summer days.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Mary, her brother Francis and her sister Ann.

She is survived by her husband, Gary, daughter, Jennifer and kids, Colby, Kaleb, Kynsey and Kayden, son, Adam and wife Corey and their kids, Keegan and Belle, son, Israel and significant other Denise and kids, Jacob, Bailey and Avery. Her brother Gerard and wife Kim, brother Ronald and wife Shirley and brother-in-law Jay and all of their families.

There will be a celebration of Mary’s life on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at 12 p.m., at the Solon Fire Station.
