William Sleeper Caldwell II

HALLOWELL – William Sleeper Caldwell, II, 80, passed away at his residence in Hallowell on Nov. 24, 2021. He was born in Presque Isle Oct. 28, 1941 to John and Alix (Searle) Caldwell. Bill finished Farmingdale Grammars, Cony High School and a Master of Science for Florida International University in Miami. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Eames in 2010. Bill leaves a sister, Deborah of Augusta, a brother John Jr. of Howick, New Zealand; nephews, nieces; stepchildren, and his foster daughter, Hope Cady.Island Falls was his favorite spot.
