Central Maine Power is raising the price of power $30 a month. Thanks to my solar panels my costs will go up less. For six months of the year I buy no power from them, and the other six months less than before. Moreover, when the next increase comes my panels will not charge me more.

It is also nice to know that maybe, just maybe, I have prevented someone from having an asthma attack.

Thirty-year treasuries are taxable and provide no protection against inflation. Keep this in mind and have someone who is qualified give you an estimate as how solar would work on your property. You may be pleasantly surprised.
